The good thing about the GPL is that it encourages sharing amoung the
smaller shops where most of the good brain-share is. The BSD license,
though I like BSD, encouraged taking but not as much giving back. I
feel that's one reason Linux has progressed past BSD. Ideas and
brain-share were engaged.
