In "Revolution OS" isn't Linus asked the Linux v. GNU/Linux question.
IIRC -- his response is as follows: "To call 'Linux' 'GNU/Linux' is
ridiculous.

However, he went on to say that calling a distribution that you create
"GNU/Linux" is reasonable and OK. The implication being most
distributions include GNU and the Linux kernel. But he adds, it's OK
to call a distribution you create anything you want: Red Hat,
GoonyGooGoo, Mint, ALEnux, whatever.

I was a bit disappointed by the answer.  I mean c'mon, when most
people say "Linux" they are most commonly referring to some sort of
GNU/Linux combo. Yes, "GNU/Linux" is pedantic, and also more accurate.
Linus should give his peer a tip of the hat on this point.

In Revolution OS, doesn't Linus answer the how do you pronounce
"Linus" and "Linux" questions as well? Hint: "Linux" is always
pronounced "Linux." HTH
