For me it's primarily a remote disaster backup facility.

I like the fact that it is not in Metro Atlanta.

I have about 300GB of backups offsite this way.

That's in addition to running a local rdiff-backup archive of my
fileservers and making tapes monthly I send to Recall.

Maybe I'm paranoid?
