I'm still trying to figure out how this all beats rsync over ssh
on a server I trust (mine)...  and each computer that uses it
has a backup from the last time it was synced.

yeah.. ok, so I am typing in a command (a bash script)
and have to type in a password to sync up.... but that's ok by me.
