[ale] Ubuntu Netbook Remix

I recently acquired a Acer Aspire One Netbook, and decided to try Ubuntu
10.04 Netbook Remix on it.

I wanted to ask if anyone else on the list has used the netbook remix
version of Ubuntu and what your opinion is on it.

I personally didn't like the netbook optimized desktop interface on it. I
wound up uninstalling all of the installed netbook packages and reverting it
back to the default gnome desktop. After doing this I set the top and bottom
panels to automatically hide to maximize my screen space.

Hopefully this isn't too far off topic, I really like Ubuntu and that is why
I chose it to run on my netbook
