Hi everyone and Merry Christmas!
I just installed Kubuntu and updated the repositories, got all package updates, etc..
Here is what problem I'm having:
I install VirtualBox 3.2 via dpkg (because the version I'm using doesn't show up in the apt-cache search).. Dpkg -i virtualbox3.2....64.....deb throws a dependency error (python 2.5).. But I have v.2.6 and all is fine. I did the dpkg --force-depends VirtualBox..... and it went in and worked fine when I launched VirtualBox..
But now when I want to apt-get install anything at all, it always errors with a reminder that VirtualBox wants Python2.5. How do I get apt-get to go on anyway and not remind me anymore about VirtualBox?
Thanks,
Jim Butler
