one more thought.. not sure if anyone else mentioned it, but you probably want
to make a seperate /home partition. That way, if you have multiple distros,
they can point to the same /home, and if you have to reinstall, or just want
to change distros, you can use the same /home and keep all your personal
settings...
my "/" partition is 20 Gb, and I've used 38%, 7Gb.. it has remained about
like that for a year.. my /home is 135Gb, and I need to add a second drive
for more space:)
