[ale] Netgear WGR614 setting replication

hi, there,
Netgear technical support said I can't restore settings saved on one Netgear
WGR614 to another, since MAC addr is embedded. Negear.cfg, the saved
settings, is in some kind of  binary format. I located the MAC address and
replaced them all using 'sed' (cygwin & linux). still got 'invalid file'.
Maybe it has some checksum somewhere as well?
Anybody had this before? I need to replicate a set of configurations to over
ten WGR614v6. It gets old really fast to do it manually.
