[no subject]

But, when it comes to something like this subject (gmail), I think that
it should be between the two parties only. I especially don't think it
deserves multiple threads. Today alone, discounting this one, there are
nine threads about it; albeit, most of those are created by clients
breaking previous threads. At least, that is what I see at
<a  rel="nofollow" href="http://news.gmane.org/gmane.org.user-groups.ale";>http://news.gmane.org/gmane.org.user-groups.ale</a> .

I certainly did not start this thread to bring up the heated reply-to
discussion. I was merely trying to illustrate that this list has turned
from somewhat relative Linux discussion to &quot;who has gmail?&quot; over the
past couple weeks.

One other thing. I pointed out the wiki, and created the topic,
_because_ it gets used so little. All it takes is a little prodding and
it can become a more valuable resource.

&gt;     attriel&gt; Oh no.  Are we going to end up with the whole &quot;reply-to&quot;
&gt;     attriel&gt; discussion now?
&gt;
&gt; Of course not. Why when given an excelent example of why it's a brain
&gt; dead setup would anyone want to disagree with it . . .
&gt;
&gt; *cough*
&gt;
&gt; Sorry, was that out loud? :)

&quot;All governments suffer a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible. Such people have a tendency to become drunk on violence, a condition to which they are quickly addicted.&quot;
