[ale] Speakeasy "naked DSL"

While we're on the subject of DSL....How's this for an aggrvation..

The DSLAM for our neighborhood is on my property.

It is a discus system, provisioned for 1.5M only.  It has capabilities to a
full 6M pipe, and it is on my physical land, but BellSouth won't reprovision
without charging me an arm and a leg.


*sigh*

Who said the monopoly was busted up?
