[ale] Strange request: does anyone have an old Compaq manual?

I'm trying to help out a friend that needs a Compaq manual to show proof of
ownership of a stolen computer. A typical non-techie, she doesn't even have
to model information nor any of the original materials. Sigh. 

So if anyone has an old DeskPro or Presario manual on a bookshelf that they'd
be willing to give up, I'd greatly appreciate it.
