I really like my Logitech Pro 4000. (It is based on a Philips chip)
It even works nice under low light conditions.
( It also has good microphone )
I am currently waiting for the delivery of "Logitech notebook pro cam"
that I bought from overstock.com for <50$ for lawn video conferencing.
Hopefully I can test it later today.
While the base driver is in the normal kernel ... you will need a binary
decompression module for full motion video.
