I would recommend m0n0wall ( <a  rel="nofollow" href="http://www.m0n0.ch/wall/";>http://www.m0n0.ch/wall/</a> ) running on a Soekris 
Board ( <a  rel="nofollow" href="http://www.soekris.com/";>http://www.soekris.com/</a> ). Soekris' are made just to be networking 
devices, and have handy dandy features like a Hardware Watchdog, PoE, Serial 
out (for display) and a CF card slot built in.
