Subject: [ale] Measuring DSL performance
I'm switching from BellSouth to SpeedFactory in about 5 days (no pppoe was
what finally got me).
For curiosity's sake, I'd like to measure differences in
bandwidth/throughput between the two, so between now and the time my service
is switched I'd like to gather some summary information on my BS connection.
Are there any good, accurate utilities for linux (sigh, or windows I
suppose) that will allow me to do this?
Thanks!
John
