[ale] Re: Help needed with pine, fetchmail, sendmail.

Thanks go out to Jason, Alan and Jonathan for their suggestions. 
Fetchmail now seems to work properly with sendmail (no more error messages 
about unknown user from sendmail).  There is more weirdness though.  The 
mail never appears in any folder or directory I've been able to find. I am 
simply trying to get it to use the "normal" /var/spool/mail/"username". 
Here is another strange part. Here is the series of links involving 
sendmail - 
/user/sbin/sendmail->/etc/alternatives/mta->/usr/sbin/sendmail.sendmail. I 
am assuming this is not the standard. Could this strangeness be courtesy 
of the Red Carpet upgrade of Evolution to version 1.2.2? If so is there 
a way to get back to normalcy with removing Evolution? This is on a RedHat 7.3 
system.
