[ale] ( Hardware ) External drive dream = HD + CDRW

The one thing that had caused me problems 3 years ago doing this, was
unplugging and plugging in the CD-ROM on the fly.  If you had the CD
mounted in Linux, it really caused a few issues.  For HDD's I would
assume similar issues even under Windows XP.
