[ale] Sony Vaio GRX 670 laptop +linux

i do not have experience with *that* laptop, but i have installed redhat
7.0 on a Sony Vaio PCG-F350 before.  i had a dual-boot setup with win98
and it seemed to work fine (2gig partition).

i only ran the command line, though because my vaio was a PII, 366, 64M
RAM.
