[ale] IMAP server advice?

I'm running Courier IMAP and Exim on my Mandrake 8.1b2 (2.4.8-12) Box, in
order to run the Squirrelmail
without the timeout issues I had with UW and Squirrelmail (I think more
squirrelmail's fault).

I like the Maildir format.  It was easy to build exim with the Maildir
format.  I found the
info in the mailing list archives at exim.org, and can send you a config
file if you would like.

I'm running a family mail server, so I can't testify to production traffic
scaling....

People do use it with virutal domains, but that is still on my todo list.

I did not try out their MTA as I'm very much sold on Exim.
