[ale] Loading RH 6.0 sparc on Sparc 10

I'm using an old Sparc 10 to lad RH 6.0 and am having problems
with the machine.  I can not seem to get video upon
bootup.  The Sun monitor is black.  Should it have a white
backgound the minute I turn the Sparc on?  Does the Sparc require
a monitor to be attached?
