[ale] TR4 tape drive

I have a TR4 Tape drive that seems to work fine (I think it's an HP
Tape - but really I can't remember). I don't do any of the SCSI
commands you have inidicated (mt fss 1), but I use it to perform
backups (I just tar my files to /deb/nrst0 and that's it).
