AOL and CS2000 use a proprietary (auth?) protocol, so you have to use their
apps (not available under L*) to get online. I think Prodigy was that way,
too.

This brings up a question about "Linux Friendly" ISP's. I personally have
never, not been able to connect to an ISP with Linux, even if the IP had no
clue and was running NT. So my question is are there ISP's out there that it
is IMPOSSIBLE to connect to with Linux and if so, why?
Hmmm.. would that make them a WinISP?
