[ale] sendmail doesn't start up

Joe:

There should be an entry in /etc/rc.d/rc3.d like the following:
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           23 Jun 19 12:58 S80sendmail ->
../init.d/sendmail.init

As you can see it's a link to sendmail.init.  At least, that's how it is
on my 4.2 system.
