[ale] RedHat pppd

Howdy all,

I'm trying to set ppp up over a wireless modem.  Anyhow I gave RedHat's
graphical netcfg program a shot and it crashed, and won't run again
without crashing.  But not before sneaking an exec of pppd somewhere 
in my system.  Now everytime I boot it runs pppd, but with (I think) 
the wrong arguments.  I can't find where the stinkin pppd gets exec'd.  
Any clues?  I've grep'd all the rc.* files

BTW:  I'd like to ask RH this question, but they seem to have a lot
of troubles with their registration process  right now.
