[ale] Slackware and Laptops

Greetings all,

I have a Toshiba T1900C Satellite. It's a lowly 486SX with a 
problem. LILO. I read the documentation and asked a few brits
and nothing has been resoved. When I use the Slackware 3.0 
boot disk (bare), I get the "L" in LILO and then everything
stops.

I've been told (not that I didn't already know) that this is 
a BIOS problem.  From what I can tell -- or from what MSD 
tells me -- I have a Toshiba BIOS. It's not very surprising,
it's just really annoying.

Anyone ever installed Slackwre on a Toshiba or the like?
