[ale] Unstable & joystick daemon

Remember this is probably not something you will find on your stock system
so you will have to find it and compile it locally. Perhaps someone else
on the list can speak up with the exact name of this useful daemon as
I don't remember what the package is called. Another alternative is to
search through thew LSM (Linux Software Map) for entries with the word
joystick in them.
