Actually, my computers are in the living room.....except for my Newton which
is everywhere.  Sometimes I write Email messages while in the bathroom.
I have a sofa bed in the living room.....

My beeper usually goes off for one of three main reasons.

My home server has crashed, impacting my Email.

My work server has crashed, impacting my Email and the people at work.

The work connection to the outside world has gone down....leaving me cutoff.
