I keep hearing that umpteen zillion species have gone extinct since
yesterday, but somehow, strangely, no one is able to name a recently
extinct species.
The world is getting greener and more clement, and has been getting
greener and more clement ever since the little ice age started to ease
up two centuries ago.
I see with my own eyes lands now forested with young trees, which lands
were so barren when I was lad that sheep and goats had a hard time of it.
