The fact that I do not yet have a fully fleshed out alternative theory  
does immediately disqualify me pointing out flaws in the prevailing  
narrative.

By extension, I don't necessarily have to explain exactly how the presents  
got under the Christmas tree to observe that it would be physically  
impossible for Santa Klaus to drop down the chimneys of 100+ million  
households in America in the span of 8 hours.
