at times may spend many years learning hard lessons;
 a public fail is a wider win of sorts, opportunity to learn via other.


software development sustained over years is expensive in any form -
no clear best path to watering the privacy commons.  a collection of
decentralized methods certainly more plentiful today than before,
however, ... there is hope? :)
