[ale] [OT-ish] Redo "device verification code"?

Hey all, sort of OT but you're the most experienced tech group I hang 
out with.

My Void Linux box is set to delete cookies, etc, when I log out. 
Normally I just have to log in with saved credentials each morning. I 
was off-line for just over a week, and now a few sites, like GMail and 
GitHub, are giving a "Device not recognized" error and sending a 
confirmation code.

Is this a case of not logging in for a while, or should I look at the 
box being subverted?

Thoughts?
