[ale] what to do with older PC's

Once my gear starts to fail, I recycle it. The laptops are junk. So is the P5. The remaining 2 machines could be usable baby servers (storage or backup with new drives).

New gear has such a performance to wattage improvement the power savings almost pay for the upgrade over the lifespan.
