I've got an LG that I like a lot.
It has WebOS on it, but I've never set up the network on it.
I use roku for content, so I don't have a direct connection to the internet for the TV.
Personally, I think "Smart" TV's are a waste. The apps on all the one's I've seen are sucky versions, and they never get updated anyway.

Guys,
I am looking to purchase a television. I'm not much of a watcher, and half of
what I want it for is to display a Pi or other *nix device so's I can surf
from my easy chair. My question is simple: what manufacturers do we halfway
trust to not hack our network, send data back to Red China or other nastiness?
