[ale] VPN provider recommendations

I seem to recall this subject coming up on the list in the past, but  didn?t find anything in a quick search.  I?m looking for recommendations for a VPN Provider for a non-technical user who works in a profession where he wishes to keep his private and public online presence completly distinct.   Anyone with first hand experience recommendation with a VPN provider is much appreciated.
