Hmm. The files file manager will display everything on the computer but it
usually requires a few clicks to get there.
Look in the upper left of the files panel and click on home. Close the
files panel with the upper right close. Reopen it from the Activities menu
or the fly out left panel. It should be in your home and show the mounted
thumb drive.
Does the thumb drive have a live distro on it?
