I think there are two people on this list from the Atlanta Historical Computing Society (AHCS / http://atlhcs.org/). As a collector of vintage computers, it is part of my procedure to ?re-cap? many systems and power supplies prior to testing.
The electrolytic capacitors usually only last about 20 years.

I've got yesterday from craigslist IBM PC XT. Upon testing one of the tantalum capacitors exploded with flames :) Should I replace all of those or try just that one. Seem like should be fairly easy .
