Or proper backups for a home linux setup?

BTW, simple rsync generally isn't sufficient.

David T and I gave a talk in 2011(?) about 5 different backup techniques
and tools. http://ale.org/?p=141 I remember that day clearly because it
was also a terrible, terrible week for our friend Aaron.
