[ale] Ale Digest, Vol 86, Issue 8
Doctor was on APV for free for years, but last month they were removed. Contract
ended with the BBC.
Netflix DVD still has 8 seasons. Don't know about streaming - wanted access to
the back movie catalogue. However, with the USPS 3-day shipping for across town
and no Saturday work, this service isn't nearly as compelling as it was a few
years ago.
Still - paying $100/yr for one of these pays for itself in ... 2 months for most
CATV people. Try it during an off season (if you need sports).
BTW - I get about 70 channels with OTA antenna in the attic. DTV really does
work and with a $100 outlay, you can use any DLNA client to watch live TV.
