Nobody ever got fired for picking IBM
became
Nobody ever got fired for picking Microsoft / Oracle / EMC
is becoming
Nobody ever got fired for picking VMware
and
Nobody ever got fired for picking Puppet

I know of fed up customers from each of those companies, either due to extremely
high prices or failed deployments.

Being a "market leader" isn't always a good thing, especially for highly complex
software solutions.  If you are a consultant, specializing in any of these
things, there will be lots of work for you - that is certain.

I'm not against complex solutions, where they are necessary.
