oops.... you know if you install java it works a lot better ;) I did a
:yum install jre and it pulled in:
 installing :
ttmkfdir-3.0.9-44.fc21.x86_64                                1/3
  Installing :
xorg-x11-fonts-Type1-7.5-10.fc21.noarch                      2/3
  Installing :
1:java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.20-8.b26.fc21.x86_64              3/3

works alot better now! s'what I get for assumin it was installed...
