[ale] bcm4318 keeps forgetting

I setup my 80 year old uncle with Linux last week, he loves it! It
suspends & restores in just a few seconds, and chrome home page is his
email.

The only problem is his wireless card, the Broadcom 4318. It keeps
losing it, then not going online. I showed him how to open a terminal,
sudo su, modprobe b43, and then it goes online. Why doesn't it keep
that, am I missing a step??
