I don't much care about any of the other device connected to the 
building lan.  All I need is a way for my devices to see and communicate 
with the internet.

Internet -> their wifi router ->bridge -> my cisco -> my devices 
(Laptop, Pi, Cubieboard, etc.)

Bridge is the missing piece.  I only have wifi access to it and marginal 
at best, so I'll have to get an antenna too I suspect.
