If I'm in country, I'll do 5 minutes on Bodhi (Enlightenment + Ubuntu)
which has now become my choice on 3 systems I use. The polish and
useability on the latest version is awesome. The default file manager is a
little weak (but pretty) but anything else you want to install works well.
It takes me about 10 clicks to make the system work the way I want from
a fresh install: Windows focus (click to raise), make the mouse arrow
bigger.. (I lose it easily), xrandr for dual screens....
I like the way the favorites menu is a right click away on any exposed
desktop, or Ctrl-Alt-M for the menu. And the "iBar" is cute, but stays out
of my way better than the similar bottom menu on a mac.
It's fast on older (but still nice) hardware and it just stays out of my
way and lets me work.
Other than some screen shots/video's. That was my 5 min.
