[ale] Remote Desktop for Everything?

I've been using WebDAV for this (via https), easy way to keey my linux 
systems, tablets, etc.. accessing a common share from anywhere.
I consider it more secure than DropBox, but not suitable for anything 
critical.

"apt-get install davfs2"  made it easy to mount from Linux systems.
