Call me crazy, but I call that a minimum basic requirement these days.
I refuse to provide my UN/PWD for service X to service Y (where X != Y,
obviously), even if both are run by the same company.
But in this case, it's probably the FB application itself misbehaving on
a smartphone. FB is _wonderful_ for crazy stuff like that. Welcome to
the modern era, where the biggest problem in IT is idiots without a
security-focused mind writing systems...
