Well whoever recomended "photorec", big thank you and yes it did the job :) Beers to everybody! Photorec is part from testdisk package.
http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Download. Photorec is almost selfguided and needs to be run as root. And once again make your backup with dd first. Just in case ....
