[ale] Linux audio streaming

I'm interested in streaming a local audio source (radio output) over the 
internet for private use, temporarily.  Is there any software for Linux 
that will let me connect my radio output to the line or mike input on my 
computer that someone can listen to via a http://mysite.com/radio?

I'm running a 6 M download but <1 M upload DSL line.   If I can do it 
will it work?
