[ale] Cutting the satellite

I had my TV stolen during a move a couple of years ago (didn't have cable TV
anyway), and started listening to the radio more. NPR, BBC, shortwave,
podcasts and "old time radio shows" off the net.

All the TV shows I like get canceled early (Caprica, SGU, Fringe, ...) with
the exception of Frontline, Nova... and Hak5 :)

Anyway, I found that there's enough alternate media out there, esp w/ PBS
online now, to engage my brain when I want to kill time, without a TV.
