[ale] Eclipse or Ubuntu issue not sure

In windoze version I was used to clicking open file and a dialog opens and
then I can paste the path of the file I have obtained from the dos window
and the file used to get opened.  It was very easy and I could navigate
faster.

However what I see in Eclipse on Ubutnu is when I click Open File, I see the
following window

As you can see I cannot find a place to paste the folder location for
example no place to type
or paste

/home/devolpmentuser/abc.html

Is this a Ubuntu issue, if so how to fix it any idea ?
