Witout specific Andoid knowledge:
I can tell you that there are some variations in imap folder layout that
causes some issues. Some are /INBOX/subdir and they only see the subdirs
under the inbox folder. Others are /INBOX /SPAM /SENT /PRON /FOO
and not seen by some mail apps.
