ALErs,
I have an older laptop that I inherited, and I installed Fedora 14 on
it, and things were doing fine, when suddenly, about a month ago,
after one of the kernel updates,
it now requires that I hold a key down during boot to complete, and
similarly for shutdown. I can hold down Shift or Ctr or CRl, but if I
don't, the process freezes.
I tried Googling for laptop boot freeze, but there are apparently
quite a few other issues that use that sort of keyword set.
Has anyone seen/heard of my problem before?
